We had our annual Trunk or Treat tonightat Adamsville Church of Christ. It went very well. The kiddos all looked cute and the adults and kiddos had loads of fun. There were all kinds of costumes. My kiddos were Hannah Montana and the Black Spiderman. Now we know what Mary would look like with blonde hair. Loads of candy and fun for all. Thanks to all who passed out candy to all the kiddos.

14 wonderful years

Yesterday, October 7, 2009 Barry and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary. We had a normal day, him off to work, me off to classes, Mary off to school and Christopher stayed home with Pop. The kiddos have been running a fever. Mary finally got over hers and got to go back to school yesterday. Christopher stayed home another day to make sure he was over his and got to go today. Maybe that is gone now. Well I woke up to a sweet card and some flowers for my anniversary. I got Barry a new NKJV bible for his. He took me out to Outback last night. It was good, could have been better. No real complaints other than Christopher and fever. It went away though. Today I woke to a note saying check the mail... I checked it and he stuck a note in there for me telling me he loves me. How sweet. Another anniversary down and moving on to Mary's 10th birthday next week(14th). He party is this weekend and hope it goes well.

Hope you all have a great day.

My Birthday and a Zoo trip

Today was Christopher's first field trip to the Zoo. We had a grreat time. I was really tired when I left. My feet andback hurt. I woke this morning to the kiddos giving me some flowers and candy and Dr. Pepper for my bday presents. Then off to school and the field trip. Then after I went and bought Mary's bday gifts. Then back to the school to pick them up from school. We came home and Barry planned a surprise get together for me. Afew friends came over and then Mary said she had a headache. I felt her head and she was a little warm , took her temp and it was 102.3. So medicated her and sent her to bed. Everyone else left within minutes. So so much for my get together. Oh well maybe some other time. Also here is pics of my flowers the roses are from Christopher and the sunflowers are from Mary. Thank you for my bday.

Kindergarten end of summer celebration

Christopher's class along with the other 2 kindergarten classes at Corner had their end of summer celebration today. We met at the school, those of us moms who volunteered to help, to celebrate with them. I had a few other moms send bubbles for them to play with and I brought them all pop-ice to eat. They had a blast. Here are a few pics.

Auburn Birthday

Saturday was Christopher's 6th birthday. Yes, my baby turned 6 and I cannot beleive how the time has flown. We had a lot of fun. Laura came over Friday night and helped me decorate(she did most of the decorating I did some) the cake. It was so awesome. It was an Auburn Football Stadium. Everyone loved it. It tasted good too. I am proud of myself I only ate 1 piece of the wholecake and never even went back for more in the days that followed. He got several things in which he loves. We had a house full of people here on Saturday for the party. Everyone had a great time. I am glad we could have suc a nice time for CHristopher. Next will be my bday, then our 14th anniversary and then ME's 10th birthday. Next few weeks will be busy.

W.I.N.G.S

Last night we had a WINGS get together at Tracie Sanford's house. This is group of women mentoring young girls from7th -12th grade. We had a great time of food, fun, swimming, and fellowship with one another. We also got the new pairings for the upcoming 6 months of mentor/mentees. These young girls are all wonderful and need all the encouraging and mentoring we can give them. They also encourage us. Thanks you to Shawn and Tracie for opening your home to us, and pool. Thanks Jennifer for starting the program.

School again...

Today I started back to school again to get a degree in secondary education Math. I had to be there at 8AM for my first class. Yes I did have to start class today. We started in with math and even got homework. Then on to my next class at 9:30AM Music, where I also received homework, 4 chapters to read by Wednesday. I know that sounds like alot, but he assured us that it was only about 20 pages or so andI still don' t have the book. Next went to my English class at 11AM and had to do a 1 page paper on myself. Lastly, I had my Psychology class at 1PM, where we were in the wrong class room with no teacher for 10 - 15 minutes, not message that the class room was changed to a totally different building. So off 10 of us go to serch for the new classroom. It was in a biology lab just for today. That was interesting. After this I had to run to walmart to getsome cash to meet with people to buy books. I got my math book and headed to Corner to pick the kiddos up and then had to turn right around and head back to Dora to get my english book. Then back home at about 3:50 4 o'clock to cook dinner. Tomorrow I have to go to Aville walmart to meet another girl to get the Music book. Then back to class all day on Wednesday. What have I gotten myself into.... Busy Busy Busy!!!!!

First day of school

The kiddos had a wonderful first 3 days of school. Christopher has stayed on green, which he usually is pretty good. I was not surprised. He loves his teacher and loves going to school. He had a work sheet to do last week and after he finished it he wrote at the bottom "I love Mommy" so sweet. Mary loves her teachers as well. This is her first year to switch classes and she loves it. So far so good. I am bored without at least one of them at home with me some of the day..gotta get used to that I guess.

Prayer Request

I have a wonderful friend who needs all the prayers she can get right now. She is a single mom of two. She has been battling cancer since last October(the 2nd time around). She has now been told that it is progressing and the meds are not really doing the job and that she has a year or less. Please pray for her and her family. She is a really wonderful christian woman ad does for others before hersel, even now. She has not let the cancer change her attitude toward what God want and demands all of us to do. She is like the sister I never had and her kiddos like my own.
Please pray for her everytime you pray.

Home Sweet Home...

We are home from the beach. We had a great time. We swam in the pool, most of the time by ourselves the other times with a couple of girls, Mary's age. We went down to the beach in the late afternoon and walked along the shore. The first night there we went down and Christopher played in the edge of the water and was stung all up his legs by ,we think, jelly fish. We thought he would not want to go back, but that was not so. We went and walked on the 1/4 mile pier. We ate at Lambert's once. We also went to the gocart track on Tuesday night and I saw a girl I went to school with in Mississippi and her family. I have not seen any of them since Dec 1990 Yes almost 19 years and I thought it was her when I saw her, so I asked if her name was Mandy and she said yes. I told her who I was and she was wow it has been too long. Her dad was there as well and he was our Principal in school, he did not recognize me at all. I don't blame them sinc eit has been 19 years and I have changed quite a bit. We has a great time. The kiddos were great and had lots of fun.

Beach Bound

I am headed to the beach in a matter of minutes. The kiddos are already arguing at 6:30 AM it better not mean for a bad trip. I cannot wait to get on the beach this evening. I don't care too much for the ocean to swim in , but I do love to walk the edge and let it come up on my feet. We will see you when we get back. Have a great weekend.

College Student Again...

I am officially a college student again. I am going back to get my second degree. I have one in Industrial Electronics and now I am going back to get one in Education to teach secondary math, like the pre-algebra and algebra's. I registered at Beville yesterday. I am taking 4 classes on Monday's and Wednesday's from 8 am til 2:15PM. But those are the only 2 days I have to go up there. I will be taking Math at 8, Music at 9:15, Eng 101 at 11 and the Psychology at 1 ten on to car line to get the kiddos at Corner. I am kind of looking forward to it, but not sure.
Beville wanted to try to say that West Birmingham, where I graduated High School, was not state accredited and told me I may have to take my GED. No way!!! I was a straight A student with a 3.926 GPA and the Salutatorian, there is no way I should have to take the GED. I think they are mistaken and I am trying to get my transcripts to prove that it was accredited. Wish me luck.

Registration of two Kiddos

This morning we went and registered Mary and CHristopher for the new school year. My babies are in Kindergarten ad 4th grade. Mary got Mrs. Purkey and Christopher got Mrs. Frazier. These two will d very well. They seem to be very good teachers. Mary didn't get the one she wanted, but I think she will be very happy withthe one she got. She will also be changing classes this year and she will get all 3 of the teachers at some point during the day.
While I was pregnant with Christopher, I worked at Southtrust. There was another woman who I was friends with and she was pregnant with her 1st child, a little girl. Well she was due like Sept 17th and I was due Sept 5th. We always said that it would be funny if we had our babies the same day. Sept 5th came and went. The next week she went into the hospital for blood pressure problems and they were going to induce her. I was still pregnant and late. I said she better not have her baby before Christopher came since he was already late. So finally a week later on the 12th Christopher decided he would start coming, she was already there just waiting on the induction. So we went to the same hospital and were 2 roos apart. She found out I was there and had her nurse keep a check on me, my nurse would not do it for me. So finally at 10:11 am Christopher came and then around 3:3?PM her daughter came. Our babies were born on the same day, at the same hospital and we were right down the hall from each other. The reason for this story is that our babies are going to be in the same class this year as well. They were grown together, born together, now live on the same street, and will go to the same class and school together. How neat is that?

Busy Busy Busy as everyone is!

I have been pretty busy lately. I have been going to the track every evening to walk. I also started back in with some intervals of walking 1/2 a lap and then a slow jog for the other 1/2 lap for a total of about 1/2 mile of jogging and then at least 1 1/2 miles or more of walking. I also have been watching the scale to see what the outcome is... it works. It has kept me from gaining anything and I have actually lost. So I will be keeping this up. Last night was Lauren's first time to go with me in a week and the first time since I started in with jogging. She said she was going to kill me, but she did as much as I did. Way to go Lauren. If anyone wants to join us we do it at Corner most every night around 7 or 7:30. Of course not on Wednesday though.
I have been working with Mary on school work to keep her up on what she learned last year so she doesn't have to relearn it in 5 weeks when school starts back. And I have decided to go back to college, yes I already have a degree which I do not use. I am goig to be going to Bevill this Fall for Secondary Ed. I went and took my placement test yesterday and did really well. In reading the highest score you can make is a 99 I made a 96 andEnglish highest is 99 I made a 94. The math had about 5 different numbers so I am not totally sure what my score was, but the lady told me it was good and I placed in the math class just below Pre-Cal. So I guess that is good since I would not want to start in Pre-cal my first class back in many years. Also I learned that there is a possibility, now that Lawson has taken over Bessemer, that my classes I took back then, may transfer. And if they do then I will not have to take alot of the beginning classes and it won't take me as long to get my degree. Keep you fingers crossed that they transfer.
Home has been busy and wonderful. The kiddos are getting along alot better, knock on wood. Maybe it was the full moon or something that made then argue and fight alot last week.
Hope all have a wonderful week. God bless you all.

Locks of Love

Most of you already know that Mary is into growing and donating her hair to Locks of Love. Today we went by the salon just to see if her hair was long enough to donate yet or how much longer it needed to be. They said it was long enough so we got it chopped off. Now she has very short hair that is kind of stacked in the back and angles toward her face. Here are some pics of the outcome. She loves it and I think it is really cute. So much cooler for the summer.

Happy 4TH

Wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4TH tomorrow. Hope all have a wonderful time with what ever they do. We will probably just hand around home. Not sure yet.

Walking

Lauren and I have been back to our walking several times a week. Last night we did 4 miles and said we are going to try to add the jogging into our walk next time we go. Let's see if we do. I want to, but not sure if we will with this heat. I will try anything to kick in my weight loss. We both said we are not going to do the straight running, we neither one are runners. But we do walk at a fast pace and we have in the past added jogging into our walk and we will again very soon. Tonight is church and that is great. Tomorrow is the k-5th grade devo at Brad and Kim's and then Friday we are having a few people over for dinner, so when will we be able to walk together again. Maybe we can go after everyone leaves Friday night. I sure hope so. I will be either going to the track tomorrow morning by myself or doing my Biggest Loser DVD's and the same for Friday morning. Anyone know how often you can do the weight lifting DVD's, is it every day or every other day. I am not sure.
Hope you all have a great week.

Visit with Friends

Yesterday afternoon about 3PM my best friend from Mississippi, whom I have been best friends with since 6th grade, and her family came to spend the night. I met them at David's Pharmacy to show them how to get to my house. This is the first time she has been to our home in Corner. The last time she came was when we lived in Forestdale and she came to see Mary E after she was born. Yes it has been a long time. I have gone out to see her several times over the years. I have lots of friends and almost family out there since that is where I grew up til I was 16. Well she, her husband Chris, son Caleb(16 days older than Christpher) and daughter Ashley(almost 4) came and spent the night. We went back to Wal-Mart to buy something for supper and we ran into several of my friends here and from church. So she got to meet Lauren, Laura and Charli, and she saw a few others from church. We went home and fixed grilled sandwiches and chips, yeah really nutritious. Then the kiddos watched a movie/played outside and inside. I don't think they actually watched anything. We watched "Twilight"since she has never seen it or read the book. She kept saying that is a good movie. I treid to convince her she needed to read the book, but she said she doesn't read much and if she starts a book she ends up not finishing it. We all finally got the kiddos in bed around 9:30 or so and we followed about 10:30 or so. We got up early and they left a little before 9 this morning heading for Orange Beach. I want to go. We had a good visit. It was too short, but we will get together for longer sometime later.
We did not get to go to the devo last night at Nick and Jennifer's, but I really wanted to. Sorry Jen. Hope you had a good turnout and a great time. Also we didn't get to go to the Sunshine Girls Father's Day project today. Didn't have time to get ready and get there after Danaile and her family left. Mary will help pass the things out tomorrow at church though. Hope all have a wonderful day and a great Father's Day weekend.

Power Out

Wow, last night we had some pretty powerful and strong straightline winds come through Corner. It blew some of our roof off the porch part of our house. Now we have to get that fixed. It blew over all the furniture on the front porch and the grill in the back. It also blew a transformer across the street, so we are without power and have been since around 7:30 or so last night. I am over at mom-in-laws now with the kiddos and Barry. Hoepfully our power will be back on today sometime. I haven't gotten much sleep witht he power out and am very tired, but can't seem to go to sleep. Maybe later. Hope all are fine thought the storms.

Awesome!!!!!!

We have begun our Summer Gospel Meeting at Adamsville Church of CHrist and it has been awesome so far. We have a wonderful speeker, Ken Tyler from Arab. He is wonderful and keeps you thinking even after we leave for the night. We have night service at 7PM and AM services at 10:30. I have been to all of them so far. Just yesterday we had 4 restorations and 3 baptisms. This is certainly worth it. We could call off the rest of the week and say it was a great success, but just can't do that. We want more of His Word and hopefully more responses. Come if you can. I will be there.

Surgery Update

Mary went for her eye surgery this morning at 5:45AM. Not long after we got checked in Chance showed up and stayed with us for a while. About 6:45 or 7 he said he needed to go and he said a prayer with us. He is wonderful. Thank you Chance for coming over. We really appreciate it. We got there around 5:30 and were taken back to a room. The doctor called and said he was going to be late since he left his access card at home to his office building. So he was about 30 - 45 minutes late. She was taken back 7:15 -7:30 and she came back t us around 8:45-9. The doctor said all went very well and should not expect any poblems. We were able to leave about 9:30 or 9:45am. About half way to Gardendale she started saying "I'm hungry!" So we stopped in Fultondale at Chick-fil-A and she wanted to go in and eat. We went in and she talked nonstop. She ate and Rebecca came in to see her as well. We are now home and she is in the bed resting and eating again. guess it may not keep her down for long.
Thanks to everyone who wished us well and said prayers and sent cards. We love you all.

17 years and counting!!!!!

Yesterday was mine and Barry's 17 year anniversary of our first date. Yes it has been that long ago that we went out for the very first time. It almost didn't happen though. He asked me out in the parking lot of the church after the youth group got back from bowling one night and the day he asked me for was a day I already had plans with friends and another guy. I said no and he looked crushed. I felt bad, because I did want to go. I talked with my friend and she said to cancel with the other plans and go tell him yes. So the next day I went to his job and found him and he looked like he was mad at me. I told him that I changed my plans and if he still wanted to I would go out with him. So he perked up and we planned to go out. He took me to Arby's and to see "Sister Act". So that was the begining of the relationship we now have. I am so very glad that I changed plans and went with him.. He has been the best husband I could ever ask for and Dad as well. I welcome many many more years.

Awards Day and end of 3rd grade.

Well Mary had her fun day at school on Thursday and I worked the whole time at the 3rd grade booth with a few other moms. We had a great day and Mary enjoyed herself. Friday was awards day for the elementary. Mary received the 30 mile award for running or walking 30 miles this year. Most of the children received only that type of award. This year has been tough for all the 3rd graders. We only had 2 out all the 3rd grade to get A honor roll this year and only about a hand full to get A B honor roll. This shows that the year was tough for all the children. I am glad that Mary did as well as she did. She had A B C's the whole year, happy with no d or f on report card. I hope next year is easier for her and I also hope she gets the teacher she had in Kindergarten for 4th. She can go to school this next week, but it is not necessary, so I will leave it up to her whether she goes or stays home. Also her speech teacher has decided a couple of times this week to catch me at school and try to convince me into going back to school and becoming a teacher. She says I have the natural ability in her opinion and need to do it. I don't know about the natural ability, thinking about it thought.
Friday night we had a few friends over for dinner. We had the Robbins'(5), us(4), and the Strange's(4) over for spagetti. Let me tell you our house was loud and roudy from 6PM til a little after 11PM. We had a great time. The kiddos had a great time, but where wore out when we went to bed. I will be inviting more groups of people over next month for the same thing. We also played Rummikube. It was so much fun. I also have decided sometime soon I am going to get rid of the hubby and kiddos one night and have a girls night at my house and play games and watch movies. Let me know when may be good for you and if you like this idea.

Final Farewell to DFBK

Well last Thursday was Christopher's last time with his DFBK friends. He is moving on to big boy school in the Fall. We had alot of fun at the k3 and k4 goodbye party at Froggies Fun Center. He had a blast playing with all his friends and saying goodbye to them. I don't think he really understood that he won't be seeing them next year. I will miss all the moms that I have made friends with and also Mrs. Linda. This is our final farewell to DFBK. Mary Elizabeth went there for 2 years several years ago and we loved it them and now Christopher has been there for one year. It will be easier for me next year with both kiddos in the same school and it being only 1 1/2 miles from my house, less gas and less money. Hopefully I will be able to participate at the school more and sub alot more. Here are a few pics from Froggies...enjoy.

Mother's Day card from Christopher

I thought you all would kind of get a kick out of some of his answers to a card that Mrs. Linda had the class make for their moms.
I have the best mom in the whole world!
My mom is as pretty as a flower. She weighs 13 pounds and she's as tall as a flower. My mom loves to eat steak. I think Mom looks funny when she laughs. When my mom is happy, she smiles. I know she's really mad when she yells. My mom is proud of me when I eat. If I chased my Mom with a green bug, she would scream. If I had $100, I would buy my Mom a hairbow. I wish my Mom a Happy Mother's Day!
Is this not funny an that hairbow would have to be one gauddy bow for $100.

Happy Mother's Day!

Just wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all you women out there. I have had a good one. The kiddos and Barry gave me a couple of storage shelves for scrapbooking stuff and a hand plate. The plate has both the kiddos hand prints on it. It is soo cute.
Friday night me and the kiddos went o ver to Laura's to spend some time and Lori came. The other girls couldn't make it. But we had a great time. The kiddos had fun with each other and the ladies did too. We ate talked and had lots of fun with each other. Thank you Laura, next time come to my house.
Saturday, the Sunshine Girls had a Mother's Day project. We made mini loaves of bread for the mothers at church to pass out to them. Then they made birthday cards for the little chinese girl we help support and her twin brother. Then they went out front to plant a few flowers in the pots. They did great and had fun. That afternoon when Barry got home from the men's retreat, Lauren and I went out. We went to Sumo to have early dinner and they gave me a carnation for being a mother. Then we went to see "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past". It was good other than a few half dressed women. We had a good time.
This morning they gave me my girfts and we went to church. The girls gave out the bread between services. Then we had lunch over at Barry's grandmothers home.
All in all we have had a good day so far. Hope you all have one as well.

ME and the eye doctor

Today I took Mary for her 6 month checkup for her lazy eye. As most of you know when she was 2 1/2 years old she had to have eye surgery to make the eye stay where it should and not trail out to the side, this was done on her left eye. It was a great success. Now he has been watching her eyes for a couple of years now. He told us today that it has gotten worse and that she also is a little bit near sited. He says her right eye needs to have surgery now. She will be having suregery on the right eye on June 1, 2009. He said he wants to do it before it gets bigger, since the bigger it is the more work it takes to repair it. I told him that I would do what he felt was best and he said we could do it after school was out and she would do great. He said she would have outpatient. Surgery would take about 30 minutes, then 30 minutes recovery and then within an hour she would be on her way home. She would see double that day and maybe the next and have blurry vision for up to 3 days. Her eye would be red on the white part for about 2 weeks and then all should be well. I hope so. I have noticed that she has been pulling the eye into place all the time now. Please keep her in your prayers and that all will go well with the surgery. She is not concerned with the surgery itsself, but with the stitches afterward. She has asked me will they hurt, how do they put them in there, how will they just go away(dissolve) and others like this. Maybe she will not worry about it any further.

Kindergarten Registration and Pizza Party Fun day.

Last night we registered Christopher for Kindergarten at Corner. My baby is now going to big boy school this August. They gave him an assement. He was asked to say ABc's, read abc's upper and lower case, colors, shapes and numbers. She asked him to count to 20 for her and he told her it was too hard (mind you he can count all the way to 100). She then asked him to count to 10 then. So he started counting and went past 20 and she stopped him and said I thought 20 was to hard. She thn told him, "I can tell you don't like to be wrong." Since he would not move on to the next one til he got that one right. He was excited.
Today his class at DFBK had their play day at the park and pizza party for winning the $1 drop a few months ago. They got to play in one of those big blow up jumpy things for a while ten went across to the park. While on the bus waiting on Mrs. Beth to come take then across the street they were all chanting "park...park...park...park". They had a great time. I loved sitting over there and watching them and talking with the other moms.

Ladies Day!

To all who are interested in a time of fellowship with other ladies and growing in God's Word, our congregation will be having our Ladies Day this Saturday, April 25, 2009. Registration is at 8:30 with a light refreshments for breakfast and then the Ladie's Day with lunch provided. Please come and bring your friends. It will be uplifting and fun. Hope to see you there.
Adamsville Church of Christ. If you need directions let me know.

This and that.

It has been a while since I have posted. We have been very busy. We had Easter and our annual Lads to Leaders Convention. Our kids did great. Mary was upset, becaue she didn't place n anything. I just told her that not all will place and she will need to work a little harder next time. She was mostly upset, because the judge over her Bible Bowl team told them they made the top 8. We found out later that they did not make the top 8 and it really upset the whole team.
I just found out Sunday that I hurt a friends feelings and totally did not mean to. I am one who absolutely hates to hurt someone's feelings, so when I do it really bothers me. I am this way because I know exactly how it feels and don't want to do that to others. I have friends whoi get together and go do things as a group and I am not invited. This is why I try my best not to leave someone out. I recently had a few girls over to watch Twilight. It ended up being me and one oher lady. I didn't even think to invite someone and ended uo hurting her feelings. This was totally unintentional and I would never try to exclude someone or hurt them. When I saw that I had hurt her feelings I felt really bad. I am almost always left out and know how it hurts, so I try to not do it to anyone. I am not perfect s I mess up sometimes. I can only ask she forgives me and try not to do it again. I am sorry for hurting your feelings, you know who you are. I didn't want to say your name in case you didn't want to be named. I do love you and want to spend time with you and I will remember you next time.

Busy, Busy Weekend to come.

Well starting tomorrow after Christopher's Easter Egg hunt at school, we will be heading to Nashville, the Opryland Hotel, for a weekend full of activities with our church family. We go every year for our Lads to Leaders and Leaderettes Convention. This is an event that teaches our young people how to be leaders in our church. There are actually 5 convention sites, Nashville, TN, Memphis, TN, Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA and Orlando, FL. So there are thousands of children and adults participating in the weekend events. Christopher will be doing song leading. This will be Mary's first year to actually compete in any event. She did know the books and good samaritan at home and will be doing...Black and white photo, color photo, Speech, Bible Bowl and Song leading and Bible reading up there. I want to wish all of our young people luck and hope they all realize the wonderful oportunity they are being handed with this weekend and all the time at home.
Happy Easter everyone.

Busy, Busy, Busy Day. Wonderful Day!!!

Well today was another very busy and jam packed Saturday. We started the day with a Bible Bowl cookout and study/competition. Mary did well. She was excited about getting to go do the Bible Bowl work and I hope she stays this excited about learning the Bible since it is the most important part of life. We had a good turn out and great fellowship. Thanks Don and Sandra for your hard work with these children.
Tonight we had Corners 3rd-6th grade CES Pageant. Mary's group(3rd grade) had 12 girls in it. We had to be at Beville State at 4-4:30 this afternoon for pictures. We go there around 4:30 and got her into her dress and shoes. By that time the curls had almost completely fallen out of her hair. Her hair does not hold curl very well. It was still cute. Then the pageant started at 6PM. She won Miss Photogenic (judges choice) then she won People's Choice Photogenic. She didn't place in the other part, but she was so excited to get another 2 trophies and a tiara. She was beautiful. She kept saying I got another one(trophie) to go with hers from last year. She says she wants to do it again next year. My friend Tammy took the photogenic picture. She has a great record with the picture taking. She has taken several shots for different people this year for different school pageants and everyone she has taken has won the photogenic title. So I told her she is hired for next year as well, if Mary still says she wants to do it. We will see. I am the proud momma, but I would be just as proud if she had not won anything. She is a beautiful little girl without some judge saying so. Thanks Tammy.

ME's Photo Shoot

Here is the pictures for Mary's photo shoot today with a friend of mine and her daughter. We had a great time. They were taken downtown on Morris Avenue. The girls have been good friends since k-4 at DFBK. These were taken to get a good one for Mary's photogenic contest on the 28th for her pageant. Anyone who would like to see her in the pageant is welcome to come. It is March 28th at 6PM at Bevill State in Sumiton. The first shot is the one we chose to enter. Thanks Tammy.
